24 reasons to wear your seatbelt:
- Two broken cervical vertebrae
- Three
compression fractures
of the thoracic vertebrae
- Four broken ribs
- One large
pneumothorax
- Four fractures in the pelvis
- One contused liver
- One perforated small intestine
- One bruised large intestine
- One
open fracture
of the distal femur
- Two broken tibias
- One broken fibula
- One open fracture of the foot
- One severed
popliteal artery
- One dead friend
I will never understand why people don't use their seatbelts. It's not as if we don't have mountains of evidence illustrating how they will protect your health and your life.
