piasharnHave I ever mentioned that I hate snow?
I mean really hate it... downright loath those airborne, frozen water particles.
And you'll never guess what the weather was today...
...
...
...ugh.
Although, it's not like this is the first snowfall of the season. We've had a few flurries already, but nothing has stuck yet. It all melted as soon as it hit the ground. Not this time, though. I guess I just got a little too used to the balmy autumn we were having. Well, all good things must pass and all that rot.
(Damnitall.)
On the plus side, I registered to become a bone-marrow donor today. All the forms are filled out and the blood samples have been taken so my information can be plugged into the databank.
Speaking of blood, I need to get in to donate again. The last time they called me, I couldn't make it. The time before that, my blood-iron was too low. Only by two percent, unfortunately. I'm a bit annoyed with myself since the next time I give will complete my first gallon donated, and, well, I think that's kind of neat.
Or perhaps I'm just a closet masochit who needs to get jabbed with needles on a regular basis.
(Don't mind me, I have three papers, three tests, a presentation and a biology project all coming up in the next couple of weeks. Then the snow showed up, at which point my sanity headed south for the winter.)
