Damnitall, that white shit is falling from the sky again!

(This has absolutely nothing to do with the rest of my entry, and I appologize for this. I just had to get that off of my chest. Now then, on with the show...)

I don't know if anyone but me has noticed the lack of any real substance in this journal as of late. For those of you who have (and who actually give a damn...), it's just a very predictable Winter Slump. I always feel dead at this point of the year, and I just can't seem to muster up the effort (or creativity) to produce anything worthwile.

I have managed to figure out what I am going to do with my education and Life. For the immediate future, that is. I'll try to post something about that in the next week.

I also checked with my Anatomy professor on rules for students going in the Cadaver Room on their own time. See, I no longer have the time to make it to my usual Life Drawing class (Which is my usual remidy for creative blocks.), so I'd like to be able to use the cadavers as still life models. Plus, being able to draw the muscles, organs and whatnot will really help me learn about them. Anyhow, my professor said that as long as a teacher is in there with me, it should be fine. I should be able to work out some times with him once we get settled into this semester.

Yeah, I'm jumping on another bandwagon. Shoot me.

Your Livejournal Analasys

Your Livejournal's Age
According to the information you provided, your Livejournal was created on 2001-10-07, meaning that your journal has been around for 461 days. What does this mean?

With over a year of LJ experience under your belt, you can safely call yourself an experienced user. If you are still actively using your journal by now, then chances are you are here to stay. You probably don't add friends nearly as often as you used to, and more than likely have removed a bunch of people that used to be there. Staying in an online community for a year is something of an achievement, you know.

Pia's Note: An experienced user? Um, alright... Seriously, I was one of the last people I know to get an LJ accout.

Your Livejournal Friends
Now let's talk about your friends list. You indicated that you have 16 LJ friends. This is a decent amount, though still somewhat small. Given the relative age of your journal, this may or may not reflect the list that you will finally end up with. That's okay, as this sort of list makes for a comfortably small group of friends, probably people that you know well outside of the Livejournal community, people you consider good friends.

Pia's Note: Part of it is that I don't take the word 'friend' lightly. Even in online terms, I need to have had some form of communication with a person before I'll add them. I think that I've met almost everyone on my list via Mailing Lists and/or Message Boards.

It's not that I want to be snobbish about who I add, a lot of it simply has to do with my personal feelings about the word 'friend'. I know, it's an odd reason, but I'm an odd person, so I suppose it fits.

You also have been listed as a friend by 20 users. It's getting there, but still a little thin. Your journal has been around a while, and chances are you don't add or get added much these days. Your interests and habits are obvious, and the people who are going to notice you have noticed you for the most part. Not to say your list won't grow, but by now your list of friends is fairly developed. And you like it that way.

Pia's Note: If I got this journal for the 'friends', I would go out and whore myself more often ^^

Finally in this category, you have a friends to friends-of ratio of 0.8. This is an average ratio, meaning you have nearly (or maybe exactly) the same number of friends as people who have listed you as a friend. There's a good chance you add back everyone who has added you, and only add people who haven't added you if they are a good friend and chances are they'll be adding you back anyway.

Your Posting Habits
You have indicated that to date, you have made 162 entries into your Livejournal. This gives us an average post rate of 0.35140997830803 posts per day. This indicates that you update your journal at least once a week, sometimes twice or even three times. You probably include weekly or bi-weekly updates, and the occasional post in thrown in as a kind of rant of sorts. You like to summarize what's going on in your life without going into too many minute details and boring yourself, or your friends.

Pia's Note: Part of that needs to be reversed... More often than not, I post rants with the occasional Real Life snippet. As I've said before, my life isn't all that interesting. Besides, I prefer to keep some things (all right... several things) personal.

Your Commenting Habits
According to your information, you have posted 222 comments and have recieved 171 of them over the lifetime of your journal. Let's see what this information can mean.

First of all, this indicates that you have been getting an average of 1.0555555555556 comments for every Livejournal entry that you make. You can expect roughly one comment per post, sometimes more, although chances are you have entries every now and then that spark discussion, with gaps of no-comments in between. You make a fairly decent effort to incite commenting on your posts, and try to keep your journal fresh and interesting enough that people feel the need to respond to what you have to say.

Pia's Note: I do like knowing what type of reaction - positive and negative - that my entries encite. If they get any reaction at all, that is... Then again, I suppose even my friends get sick of my Dubya bashing after a while ^^;;;;

A more fair measure of how many comments you get might be your average number of comments per post per friend, which is 0.065972222222222. This may seem low to you, especially if you have lots of friends.

The final statistic is the ratio of your comments to comments you get. Your ratio is 1.2982456140351. The higher the ratio, the more talkative you are compared to your friends, comment-wise.

Pia's Note: Well, I've got the highest number I've seen so far...

That's it for now! Perhaps there was something insightful in this analasys, and perhaps you learned absolutely nothing. Feel free to post your results on your own Livejournal, and invite your friends to take the Livejournal Analasys today!

Well, it was one way to kill some time, although the "insightful" part may be a bit of an overstatement.

(And it's 'analysis', damnit!)
