Sorry. I've actually been back for a while. Not too much to say about the camping trip except that it rained a lot. Then again, it's Michigan, and we were practically on the lake. (The campground it in a wooded area that suddenly drops off to the beach. It's gorgeous to watch the sunset and stars from here.) Tents get really muggy and stuffy at night when it rains, did you know that? And having two wet dogs attempting to sleep on top of you just adds to the whole expirience.

(Speaking of rain, guess what the weather is right now? I probably shouldn't even have the computer on at the moment since there's thunder and lighting involved, but I've got surge protectors on everything including the phone lines, so I should be safe. *knock on wood*)

Actually, I'm not complaining about it. I love camping, and given the recent heat and humidity levels, it was a welcome change to have some cooler weather.

Now, as to why I neglected posting this facinating information as soon as I regained access to electricity...

Remember when a friend of mine moved to Virginia to live with another friend who is in the Navy? Oh, you don't... hmmm... alright, click here. Anyhow, he got some leave and they came up to visit for a while. Since they weren't around for my 21st birthday, we did the obvious thing and went out drinking. (I've discovered that I really like Oberon brand beer too...) Hence, I've been a wee bit too busy (and plastered) to get online.

My friend also picked up her cat to bring him back with her. You know, the one that got out and then came back a few days later.

Oh, and school starts in a few weeks. Joy. I'm actually going full time again. Someone remind me why I'm doing this again?

I decided to check the guestbook for Green in Grey for some reason. (I'm going to update that site sometime in the next century, I swear.) Anyhow, I'm reposting the most recent entry below.

I'm not even going to comment on the spelling and grammar. (Or lack thereof.) I had to read it a few times just to figure out what the hell s/he was saying in parts. It's really sad when the non-native English speakers are better with the language.

I've been debating emailing a reply to the author, just to prove what an idiot s/he is, but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort. Although I could use the vent... I haven't been in the best of moods lately.

Oh, and guess what internet provider this person uses. C'mon, it's not that hard to figure out. They're well known for having the dumbest user base in existance. (Now the flames start rolling in from people protesting that they use [Insert Company Name Here] and are not idiots. Look, I didn't say that everyone who uses this service is stupid, just that most of them are. For the sake of my sanity, just assume that you are that ellite minority and don't email me. Thank You.)
