The light at the end of the tunnel grows steadily larger. This is my last week of classes. Next week is finals, followed by seven weeks of internship before I take my boards. Then I pack up all of my shit and haul it nearly 3,000 miles (4,800 kilometers) west and finally start my life.
Let's just hope that school-related burn-out doesn't kill me first.
I did manage to take a mini-vacation which was lovely. I went up to one of the islands just off of Michigan's upper penninsula (Say "ya" to da yoop, eh!) with some friends (Steph, Ben, Tyler, and Erika, for those who know me IRL). We rented a nice little cabin with a fire pit and a hot tub. I spent the time happily killing brain cells with alcohol and NOT THINKING ABOUT ANYTHING.
The downside was coming home and realizing that I had to rejoin the Real World. Bugger.
So... yeah. Just a generic "I'm alive!" post. I feel bad for not keeping up with this thing. And for not replying to interesting posts on my friends list. And for generally losing contact with everyone. Sorry about that.
