01. What are you reading right now?
The Hero With a Thousand Faces by Joseph Cambell, The Gnostic Gospels by Elaine Pagels and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling. (The latter is a re-read.)

02. What were the last five books you read?
The Human Zoo by Desmond Morris, A Natural History of Homosexuality by Francis Mark Mondimore, Queer Science by Simon LeVay, Memories, Dreams, Reflections by C. G. Jung and Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism by John Shelby Spong.

03. Approx. how many books have you read in your life?
Far more than I can consciously remember.

04. Approx. how many books do you own?
Not couting cookbooks or comics, at least a few hundred.

05. What's the oldest book you have?
If by oldest, you mean what book I have had the longest, probably a tattered Dr. Seuss book. If you mean oldest as in which was printed earliest... well, I'm not sure. I buy a lot of books used, and some of those actually date back nearly a century.

06. What's the most recent book you've bought?
The Human Zoo by Desmond Morris, Left Turn: Origins of the Next American Revolution by Richard E. Rubenstein, A Nation of Sheep by WilliamJ. Lederer, To Hell With Culture by Herbert Read, TheMaking of Society by V. F. Calverton and Gender in Cross-Cultural Perspective by Caroline B. Brettell and Carolyn F. Sargent. (Hey, there was a used book sale not too long ago, and I got these all for $0.50 a piece... I can't afford much else at the moment.)

07. What is your favorite fiction genre?
It varies... I've always had a soft-spot for sci-fi and fantasy, but I highly enjoy Horror, general Fiction and far too many other subjects

08. What is your favorite non-fiction subject?
Mythology, Psychology, Anthropology, Science, Theology, Sociology, Ancient History, Philosophy... you get the idea.

09. Is there any type of book you simply won't read?
I'll give anything a shot. Although I'm not too fond of Math books ^^;;;;

10. What is your favorite novel (or two, or three)?
Ugh... too many to list. Far too many.

11. ...short story?
Hmmmm... "Murder Mysteries" and "Snow, Glass, Apples" by Neil Gaiman

12. ...play?
Macbeth by Shakespeare

13. ...poem?
"Song of Myself" by Walt Whitman and "Self Evident" by Ani Difranco

14. ...nonfiction book?
See answer to favourite novel question...

15. Have you ever read an electronic book?
Unless you count fanfiction and similar pieces, no.

16. How many?
n/a

17. Which do you prefer, electronic or paper?
Paper... there's something about the smell of ink and paper and the weight of the novel in my hands that is so much more personal than a computer screen.

Not much going on at the moment. I started a Yoga class, and school is picking up steam. We might also get some snow before the week is over. Joy -_-
