Some Slayers Fanart

I finally got around to scanning a couple of things ^^ Both were done on 60 lb. drawing paper with Prismacolor pencils.

I think I posted an unfinished version of the first image some time ago. Obviously, I touched it up and added a background. Not much of one, but I didn't want to make it too busy or detract from the rest of the image.

And I still like Sylpheel, even though she's not one of the more popular characters.

The second piece was finished more recently. I'm rather happy with how it came out... even if the scales covering his biceps brachii turned out looking somewhat like a pinecone ^^;;;

The background was CGed in after I scanned it for lack of any better ideas of what to do with it.

OMG, you're my HERO.

And Valgaav has Rubeus's voice, therefore he can have any sort of pinecone-ishness he wants. SO there.

Really? I never realized that Valgarv and Rubeus shared a seiyuu... possibly because I don't have any BSSM R fansubs that feature him ^^

Now that I think about it, they do share some personality traits... Although Valgarv could kick Rubeus' ass ^_^

I remember the Syphiel picture...and I can tell the touch ups. Very nice. And the VERY same with Valgaav.

You know everytime I see something new you have done...well it makes me want to draw again. Your kind like inspiration ^^
