An update on the vacation plans...

My request for time off has been approved. My bank funds are still a little low, but I'll have more than enough once my next paycheck comes in. Now I need to start doing laundry, figuring out what I'll need and what extras I want to bring along. I also need to get my car cleaned out and make sure to get the oil changed this week.

I also need to sit down with my sister and plan a route. We agreed that we'd stop for a day or two in Colorado on the way back. We might visit Mesa Verde again while we're there. We also want to take a couple of days and go to San Fransisco. (And Colma, to visit our grandparents' grave.) Perhaps we should stop there first, then head down to the San Diego area? Hmmm... That might work out better. I'll have to remember to mention that to her.

(Sorry, just babbling to myself again.)

We'll be leaving on Monday, 16 June (or perhaps late night on the 15th) and will need to be back by Sunday, 29 June. It'll probably take us three days each way, so we should get to California on the 19th, and will have to leave no latter than the evening of the 26th, which gives us a week to do whatever.

Wheeee... this is going to be fun! ^____^

It's just some sort of growth... Have you ever watched "The Oblongs (http://www.adultswim.com/shows/oblongs/index.html)" on Adult Swim? If not, Beth (the girl in the picture) is from that show. Everyone in her family (and neighborhood...) has some sort of mutation or mental problem ^^
