(I'm back. I also have the flu, courtesy of my sister, so I'm feeling a bit woosy at the moment.)

Having gone through my email and caught up on LJ entries, I went to read the latest Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon synonpsis. See, I haven't actually downloaded any of the episodes. I finally managed find an episode on Kazaa Lite, but it's a bitch of a download, and my poor dial-up connection just can't handle it. As a result, I've been subsiding on the illustrated episode translations at this site.

Anyhow, my brain is still having trouble with the fact that that white-haired, caped Shitennou is actually Zoisite, not Kunzite. It is now also having trouble registering the fact that Zoisite died before Nephrite. (The latter, by the way, seems to be doing a lot more whining in this version. And his obsession with Beryl is giving me the creeps.)

And then Kunzite appears...

I think Zoi's redesign prepared me for Kunzite's new appearance. (Although since Zoisite got the white hair and grey eyes, I half expected Kunzite to have wavy, dark blonde hair and green eyes.) Or perhaps I didn't find it as strange because more than one fanfic author has given Kunzite black hair prior to getting his magic powers. I think that part of me will be expecting his hair to turn white over the course of the series.

It's a pity that he didn't appear until after Zoi died, though... If they had tossed in even one cute scene with them together, I could have forgiven the changes they made. Maybe. (If they had kissed on screen, on the other hand... ^___^ Yeah, like that would have happened. Still, it makes for a nice daydream.)

Kunzite? He's THE SCORPION KING.

Also, Endymamoru seems way too... CLOSE... to both of them. o_O;

Possibly they (K & Z) are eggbrothers. More interesting possibility, maybe all the shitennou were just guys hanging out in Japan before Beryl awakened them, although it might've been many years prior.

As for... well. Kunzite. He likes pretty flowers and turtles. I think it's highly probable he also likes piano. But my Gita Evilmuse-chan and I haven't yet conferred on this point.

I never saw The Scorpion King, so I can't comment on that...

And... you're right about the buddy-buddy thing going on. Then again, Mamoru doesn't seem to be getting very lucky with Usagi... so When All Else Fails... *ducks thrown objects*

I do like the idea that the Shitennou were just normal people (Zoisite can be normal?) before. Kind of like how the Sailor Senshi were normal girls before Luna fell out of the sky. (Too bad Beryl isn't a cute stuffed toy.)

Motoki is a... what would the scientific word for "someone who likes turtles too much" be? Something-phile... Whatever. -_-;;;;

Mm I Love PGSM, it's awesome. Episode 13 was excellent, really showing how the television series is evolving. Damn we'll have to find a way to get you to watch them for yourself! Perhaps we can find a way to burn them and send them to you? If I buy you some CD's and have my friend burn them for ya? =3

I'd be willing to pay for blank CDs + S&H if someone could burn me copies of the episodes. (And I would love said person forever ^^) I'm dying to see this show...
