Hmmmm...

On the one hand, it's always nice to find a new (and free) smut site. On the other, it has the same (lack of) guidelines that FF.Net does, which means that about 95% of the 'fics posted are crap.

Oh, look... the Harry Potter section appears to be leading in the number of 'fics posted. What a surprise. I swear, most of these authors have to be pulling names randomly from a hat to get these pairings... Ginny and Lupin? Where the hell did that one come from? (And the title is "I Solemnly Swear I'm Going To Fuck You Senseless". How's that for classy?) And here I thought that Harry and Draco was pointless and Out of Character.

O_o ...eh?

Ye gods, the MPREGers have made their way to the HP fandom. Oh, well, at least no one has written a tentacle-rape 'fic involving the giant squid in the lake. (Watch, since I mentioned that, I'm doomed to find it in a matter of days. Why? Because Murphy has something against me.)

Moving on... they have a section for the Vampire Chronicles, but I thought that Anne Rice had this thing about not wanting people to post 'fics for her series... Odd. Anyone want to take bets on how long it will take her to find the site and make them take that section down?

On the plus side, one of the 'fics in the Sailor Moon section is Kunzite x Zoisite. Sadly, it's one that I've already read and is rather Out of Character as well. I origionally found it when I went looking for some more KxZ stories quite a while ago. (I've gotten so desperate lately that I've not only gone through both FF.Net and ASMR with a fine-toothed comb, but have even tried to read Shitennou/Senshi 'fics. Pathetic, isn't it?)

I think I'm going to end up viewing this site like I do FF.Net... As a last resort, but certainly not a place to go regularily. Especially if the current trends in NC-17 'fics continue to spread. (Pointless pairings, sexualizing series that don't have any adult content to begin with [i.e. Spongebob Squarepants or The Powerpuff Girls], MPREG, etcetera...) I swear that some people just want the attention, so they put in as many shocking elements as they can. If they put that same effort and energy into actually improving their writing skills, then perhaps sites like these wouldn't be such a cesspool for the dregs of the 'net.

I just don't understand fangirls...
